They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42
Home Groups are groups of 8-12 people who meet to study the Bible, to pray and encourage one another. They also help to keep each other accountable within the context of loving and supportive relationships. Alongside the corporate Bible teaching in the church, and personal quiet times, meeting in a small group allows for interactive and discussion-based Bible study. This aids our understanding and helps us apply God's word to ourselves. This is a crucial element in becoming mature in Christ (Colossians 1:28). Many people find they can enjoy closer and more meaningful relationships in a smaller group which is vital in a busy and growing church family.
We have a variety of Home Groups which meet at various times and on various days of the week.
If you would like to join a Home Group or have any questions, please contact Rec David Caporn either at church or through the Church Office (01395 577773 or by email email@example.com)
